Join the Campbelltown Group Embroiders Guild and create a one‑of‑a‑kind embroidered artwork inspired by their current embroidery exhibition ‘Journeys’.

You’ll begin by taking a crayon rubbing of your own shoe; transforming an everyday object into a unique pattern. Then, guided by expert makers from the Embroiderers’ Guild, you’ll learn simple stitching techniques to bring your design to life with thread.

Experiment with colour, texture and pattern as you stitch directly over your rubbing, exploring how embroidery can turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.

All materials are provided, no bookings required. Whether you’re completely new to stitching or already love working with textiles, this relaxed session is perfect for all experience levels.

Family Friendly – All Ages – Drop In

Embroiders Guild of NSW are a self-help group with member interests spanning most embroidery techniques. When wemeet, we work on our own projects and encourage each other to finish our UFOs (unfinished objects). Each year, we provide a program of classes aimed at introducing members to new embroidery techniques. These workshops arefacilitatedby Campbelltown members and by tutors from the Guild. We also work in conjunction the Campbelltown Arts Centre to provide workshops for community members whenrequested.
