Step into the role of a featured artist and create your very own exhibition-worthy hanging artwork! In this hands-on workshop, young creatives will transform everyday materials into colourful three-dimensional masterpieces using dried pasta, cardboard, modelling clay, and vibrant Posca pens. 

Participants will explore shape, texture, pattern and colour as they layer, build and decorate sculptural elements to create a unique wall hanging full of personality. Inspired by contemporary mixed-media artists, children will experiment with relief sculpture techniques while developing their creativity, problem-solving skills and artistic confidence. 

At the end of the workshop, each artist will take home a striking gallery-inspired artwork ready to display proudly on their own wall.

Using paint, creativity, and a little careful planning, you'll transform simple shapes into a unique portrait full of personality. 

Experiment with colours, patterns, and textures as you bring your artwork to life, discovering how everyday materials can become something extraordinary. Will your portrait be realistic, quirky, or totally wild? The choice is yours! 

Join us for a fun-filled creative adventure that combines painting, recycling, and imagination to make a portrait that's truly one of a kind. 

Get ready to shine at the Fisher's Kids Festival Discotheque! Join us to create your very own dazzling disco headpiece using glitter, glow-in-the-dark paint, cardboard, and other sparkling materials. Design a unique wearable masterpiece that's perfect for the dance floor and lets your creativity glow. 

Once you've finished your headpiece, strike a pose at our disco-inspired photo shoot! We'll capture a fun photo of you wearing your creation and send it to you after the festival. With parent or guardian permission, selected photos may also be shared on our social media channels to celebrate the creativity and fun of the day. 

Build your own whimsical Totem Tower using recycled cardboard, colourful materials, and plenty of imagination! Inspired by stacked creatures, characters, and symbols, participants will design and construct a unique tower filled with personality. From friendly monsters and curious animals to magical beings and abstract shapes, each cardboard creation will tell its own story. 

This hands-on workshop encourages creativity, problem-solving, and playful experimentation with shape, colour, and balance. Perfect for children and families, Totem Towers celebrates the possibilities of transforming simple materials into imaginative sculptural artworks.
