Campbelltown Arts Centre is expanding its Artistic Program beyond the walls and studios of our building into the streetscapes, pathways and spaces of everyday life, embedding creativity in the places you least expect and providing access to extraordinary creative experiences right at your doorstep.
Creativity, culture and innovation are synonymous with South West Sydney and critical to a city that reflects, affirms and inspires. Featuring acclaimed artists with strong connections to South West Sydney, Campbelltown Arts Centre’s Public Art program will be delivering resonant projects that embrace First Nations, deepen connection to Country, amplify diverse voices, promote Campbelltown stories, values and identity, and experiment with leisure, movement, play, spaces, landscapes, structures, and the senses.
Fostering innovative collaborations between artists, artforms, trades, landowners, businesses, community and various sections of Council, the Public Art program presents exciting new opportunities to showcase Campbelltown Arts Centre’s multidisciplinary contemporary artistic program in the public domain, to take a lead role in Campbelltown City Council’s initiative to ‘Reimagine Campbelltown’, and to promote Campbelltown to the world.
