The Art Café, Japanese Garden, and Sculpture Garden remain open to the public during business hours.
Blake Thomas has a keen interest in animation and Japanese manga pop culture. His work features cyborgs and futuristic figures within dystopian cityscapes. He is engaged with online communities, a personal source of creativity, belonging and inspiration. In 2020 Thomas collaborated with artist Richard J Bell, designing amenity screens for Rosemeadow’s Rizal Park and was a Fisher’s Ghost Art Award finalist. In 2023, Blake held a manga and comics workshop at the Art Gallery of NSW.
