Source Material

In the exhibition ‘Source Material’, Little Orange Studio will turn their attention to the people who have shaped their lives and practices, family, friends, public figures, mentors and imagined characters.

This collection of portraits draws from a wide pool of influences and offers reflections on how identity is shaped by others. These newly completed works trace lines of connection, admiration, and self-definition, serving as a testament to creative influence, both visible and invisible, and the ways it continues to evolve through artistic practice.

Little Orange is a working studio at Campbelltown Arts Centre for artists who identify as living with disability, d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and/or Disabled Creatives. Since 2014, the studio has supported artistic development through materials, mentorship, and access to industry networks.
