The Bangladeshi community are one of the largest diasporic cultural groups living in the Macarthur region. For the first time Campbelltown Arts Centre presents 'The Bangla Art Exhibition – Campbelltown 2019' showcasing works from emerging Bangladeshi artists who live within the region. 'Bangla Art'endeavours to build and develop an open platform for aspiring Bangladeshi artists living and working in Australia, sharing the rich heritage of Bengali culture through diverse creative practices spanning visual arts, poetry readings, dance and musical performances.
