Join us for an inspirational day of art making, discussions and a gallery tour at Campbelltown Arts Centre.

The 2023 International Women’s Day theme is embracing gender equity and understanding the difference between equity and equality. Explore this theme and discuss the symbolism and story-telling in work by Karla Dickens’ included in the ‘Women’s Business’ gallery, currently exhibiting at CAC.

Discuss your thoughts on a guided tour of ‘Embracing Shadows’, a survey exhibition by the iconic Lismore-based Wiradjuri artist Karla Dickens.

Create a collaged artwork inspired by Karla’s art practice using fabric, dried flowers and beading to tell your own story as a woman.

Enjoy light refreshments including tea, coffee, scones and seasonal fruit provided by the Arts Centre Café.

This free workshop is open to all women from all cultures and is facilitated by Natalie Valiente
