During this time they will conduct research into the community that has been created through the Art Centre’s commissioning program – including contemporary visual arts, performance, theatre, dance and music spanning two decades from 2005 – 2025. Their research will inform the writing of a super-fictional Development Application for the C-Town Conservatory. A mise-en-scenic, multi-perspectival, spatial environment framing the contributions to national life made by the CAC’s locally focused commissioning program over the lifetime of the current complex prior to its imminent redevelopment. This residency is supported by Create NSW – Small Projects Grant.
