Join us for a dynamic four-week workshop that will inspire you to create meaningful, emotive interior paintings. 

Explore how perspective, light, and colour can transform everyday domestic spaces into captivating works of art. 

Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just starting out, this workshop will spark your imagination and elevate your artistic practice. Select the Creative Bundle to do both Life Drawing and Still Life! 

Workshop outline: Still Life

Week 1: Learn to capture the key elements of a space and make creative choices about what to include and what to leave out.

Week 2: Experiment with fresh approaches to perspective and unique viewpoints that challenge the ordinary.

Weeks 3 & 4: Bring your vision to life as you design and complete your own interior painting using acrylics.

Please note:

All materials, including canvas, acrylics, and supplies, will be provided – the only thing you need to bring is your creativity!

Participants are encouraged to work from memory, but may wish to bring some photographs to get them started.

Suitable for all experience levels.

About the Facilitator 

Winner of the 2024 Fishers Ghost Traditional category award, Catherine Stait-Gardner is a self-taught artist living in Camden. With extensive experience as an artist Catherine has spent her life drawing, painting and artmaking. Known for her beautiful still life works she finds joy in elevating the status of the ordinary and every day through her art.
