Mirage (Development)

Commissioned by Campbelltown Arts Centre, ‘Mirage’ is a new full-length solo by choreographer and dancer Martin del Amo, set to the score  ’Piano and String Quartet’  by seminal American composer Morton Feldman.  

Martin’s key collaborators on the project are dance artist Miranda Wheen and  pianist Sonya Lifschitz. ‘Mirage’  is designed as a shared solo to be performed by both del Amo and  Wheen. Young Western Sydney dancers Allie Graham, Billy Keohavong and Kristie Pike are taking part in the development  of the work  as mentorees.
