Join us at Campbelltown Arts Centre for a hands-on workshop, feast and celebration to coincide with the Filipino flower festival ‘Flores de Mayo’.
Work alongside artists Amihan and Aniway Aquilizan, part of the Fruitjuice Factori Studio, for a hands-on workshop crafting cardboard flowers inspired by Amihan’s artwork ‘No Country For Natives’. Amihan and Aniway are both collaborators on their parents’ Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan’s body of work ‘Coherent Narratives’ as part of the ‘The National 4: Australian Art Now’. Make your own cardboard flowers to contribute to the exhibition and to take home, and enjoy a Filipino feast.
This event is open to all ages, $5 per person. Booking is essential.
