Campbelltown Arts Centre takes you on an epic adventure inspired by the From Here & Beyond exhibition with three workshops to choose from. Session 1: Paint Vs Fabric Time: 10am–12pm Cost: $30 | Ages 5+ Paint Vs Fabric is a textiles design workshop where you let loose and take inspiration from Jenny Kee and Imogen Jade’s exhibition ‘My brilliant sophisticated spontaneous scarf adventure and journey’. Using affirmations and music paint your very own scarf to take home. Session 2: Symbolic Sculptures Time: 1pm–3pm Cost: $30 | Ages 5+ Create your own imaginative animal totem inspired by the ‘Ngaba Dyalgalama’ exhibition featuring the Yirran Miigaydhu weavers and Waridi Barrabarragga ceramics group. Using clay and natural materials you will create a symbolic masterpiece to cherish for years to come. Creative bundle: Make a day of it and purchase ‘The creative Bundle’ ticket! For $50 you can participate in both workshops. Bring your packed lunch for a group picnic in CAC’s loved Sculpture Garden.
