'All Ears: A listening party' invites audiences to attune themselves to the practice of queer listening.
This live performance event draws artists and audience together to share in an experience that resounds with desire and resistance.
It is urgent that we learn to listen beyond those who speak the loudest, to extend our ears to listen with our entire bodies.
The live event – hosted by Club Arak co-founder, Alissar Gazal – will present newly commissioned work by artists from Western Sydney and beyond; performance maker Brian Fuata; poet Emily Crocker; disability and queer rights activist Jax Jacki Brown; electronic composer Nina Buchanan; poet and performance artist Samia Sayed; TV writer Enoch Mailangi; Sle` member and movement-based artist Kilia Tipa and musician Marcus Whale.
2 Boys in Saris will provide a performative lunch for all.
