David Capra

Since 2015, David Capra has coordinated Little Orange Studio. He has co-hosted Canvas on FBi Radio and guest edited un Magazine.

In 2015, he co-directed 'Motion Pictures: A Festival of New Cinema' (PYT) with Kate Blackmore. In 2014, he surveyed Western Sydney for an edition of Das Superpaper. In 2024, he designed the exhibition 'Imogen Jade x Jenny Kee: My Brilliant Sophisticated Spontaneous Scarf Adventure and Journey' (CAC).  Curatorial projects include 'Sheer Fantasy' (CAC 2018), 'Party Party Party' (Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, 2015), 'Che Cosa' (Wollongong Art Gallery, 2015), and 'High and Lofty' (Parramatta Artists Studios, 2011). 

Capra is known for his collaborations with dachshund, Teena. Projects include Teena’s Bathtime (Museum of Contemporary Art, 2015), TEDxSydney (2018) and Kaldor Studio Project (Art Gallery of New South Wales, 2019). 

Capra holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of New South Wales (2012).
